our organization at a glance

Welcome to The Karate Do Kenkyukai, a unique organization that provides support and assistance to martial arts organizations around the world. We also conduct historical research, collect and archive historical images and documents, and organize seminars, symposiums, and conferences with leading instructors in Japan, Okinawa, Europe, and the United States.

We are a service organization in the true sense of the word, offering our members and affiliated groups; interpreting/translation services, research assistance, and access to leading instructors.

In the tradition of Choki Motobu Sensei’s Daidokan dojo, we are an open organization accessible to all individuals and groups dedicated to the study of classical martial arts. We are multi-national, multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and united by a common interest in classical martial arts that is blind to race, creed, politics, or religion.

services we offer
